Do I need to book a table?

You can just walk in most days; you're always welcome. The tables that go fast are the ones by the water at sunset, and it gets busy on Sundays and in high season, so it's worth reserving a table for those. Tell us when you're coming and we'll keep one for you.

What kind of food is it?

Fusion Thai and Mediterranean, with fresh seafood by the beach. Thai classics like Khao Soi and coconut fried rice sit next to grilled seafood platters, confit chicken and bright salads. There's a full menu of food, cocktails, wine and coffee, and you can see all of it online.

Do you serve breakfast?

No. We open at 10am and run lunch straight through to dinner, with no gap in the day. The kitchen takes its last order at 10pm.

Can you do vegetarian food or allergies?

Yes. There are vegetarian dishes on the menu and more we can do on request. Just tell your server about any allergies and we'll sort it out with the kitchen.

Is it good for families?

Very. There's a kids' menu and high chairs, and little ones are welcome all day. Dogs are welcome too, and there's a big free car park for guests.

The kitchen

Our kitchen runs Thai and Mediterranean side by side, with whatever seafood came in fresh that day. Thai classics like Khao Soi and coconut fried rice sit next to grilled platters, confit chicken and bright, herby salads.

It's proper food, cooked to order, a few steps from the water. There's a full wine list and a bar sending out signature cocktails, so you can make a long evening of it: a lunch that runs into the afternoon, or dinner right through the sunset.

Golden hour

Dinner as the sun drops into the water

Maenam faces west, so from about five the light goes gold and the whole beach slows down for it. Take a table near the water, order a bottle of wine and something off the grill, and watch the sun go down while you eat.

The best tables for it go fast, so it's worth reserving a table, especially in high season and on Sundays. Tell us when you're coming and we'll keep one for you.
