Where we are

Bantai, the quiet west end of Maenam

Maenam is a long, easy-going stretch of Koh Samui's north coast. We sit right at the west end of it, on a section of sand called Bantai. It's the calmer part: a bit of space, no crowds, the same warm water and the same wide-open view.

The beach out front is open and sandy, with no rocks or reef in the way, so you can properly get in and swim. That's the thing people notice first: it's a beach you can actually use all day, not just look at.

Getting here

About 15 minutes from the airport

Koh Samui's airport is over on the northeast corner, and Maenam runs along the north coast, so it's a short, easy run over, about 15 minutes by car, and simple to reach from most of the island.

When you arrive, there's a big free car park for beach club guests and an easy drop-off right at the door. If you know when you're coming, tell us and we'll hold a sunbed for you.

Make a day of it on Bantai

The open water out front is made for kayaks and paddleboards, so it’s an easy morning on the water. Stay for the best sunset on Koh Samui and dinner by the beach as the sky turns gold. And if you’re looking for somewhere to stay right next door, the villas next to us have rooms overlooking this same sand.
