Depending on how you contact us and use this website, we may collect:

• The contact details you give us when you send a reservation request or an enquiry: your name, your e-mail address and your telephone number. If you write to us on WhatsApp instead, we see the number you write from.
• What your reservation request says: which kind you chose (sunbed, double lounger, restaurant table, co-working desk, activity, private event or romantic beach dinner), the date, the time, how many of you are coming, and anything you add in the message field.
• What your wedding or dinner enquiry says: the date you have in mind, the number of guests, and whatever else you tell us about the occasion.
• Website data: basic technical information and, with your consent, statistics cookies, when you use this site.

Reservation requests and enquiries are sent by e-mail to our reception. This website does not check availability and takes no deposit, so what you send is a request, not a confirmed reservation. Reception comes back to you to confirm it.

We use your personal data to answer your enquiry, to come back to you about a reservation request and agree it with you, to reach you if anything about your visit changes, to meet our legal and tax obligations, and to improve this website.

Our legal bases for processing are your consent, the steps we take at your request, our legitimate interest in a website that works, and compliance with legal obligations.

This website uses essential and functional cookies to keep the site working. With your consent, we also use statistics cookies from Google Analytics to understand how the site is used. You can decline, and nothing is stored for statistics before you decide. You can change your choice at any time using the “Cookie settings” link in the footer, or by clearing this site's data in your browser settings.

With your consent we use Google Analytics 4, a service of Google Ireland Limited, to measure how this website is used: which pages are viewed, which reservation buttons are clicked and for which kind of reservation, which reservation and enquiry forms are sent and of what kind, and which language is chosen. We also record clicks on the map or a route link, which way you choose to reach us (phone, WhatsApp or e-mail), and when a section is tapped on the menu page. Google’s enhanced measurement also automatically records how far you scroll down a page, whether you click through to another provider’s website, and whether you download a file. Before you consent we do not load the Google Analytics script at all, so no request goes out to the measurement service. Google Analytics does not store IP addresses. We have switched off Google Signals, so your activity is not linked across devices, and we do not share this data with Google for advertising purposes.

We keep this measurement data for 14 months. Independently of your consent, our web server records that a form was submitted — the type, the language and the time, without any name, e-mail address, telephone number or IP address. This is our legitimate interest in knowing whether the website works, and it cannot identify you.

We do use the IP address in one place. When a reservation request is sent, our web server briefly notes the address it came from, so that no more than five requests can be sent from the same address within ten minutes. The addresses live only in the server's working memory: after ten minutes they no longer count towards the limit, and at the latest they are gone when the server restarts. They are not written to a file, not stored permanently and not passed on. This keeps automated spam out of the reception inbox, and our legal basis is our legitimate interest in forms that work.

We share personal data only where needed: with the e-mail provider that carries your request to our reception inbox, with the agency that looks after this website, with the service partners who help us put on what you asked for (a wedding or a private event, for example), and where the law requires it. We do not sell your personal data.

The agency receives a copy of every reservation request and every enquiry you send through this website, with the same details you entered in the form. It is based in Germany and uses the copy for the technical upkeep of the forms: to check that requests arrive and are delivered correctly.

We keep personal data only as long as needed to deal with your request and to meet our legal and accounting obligations, after which it is securely deleted.

You can ask us to access, correct, delete or restrict your personal data, object to processing, withdraw a consent you have given, or receive a copy of the data you provided. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details above.

If you are in the EU or EEA, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
